Accountants can access client documents, edit and customize client entries, and validate documents to lock them for clients. The platform also enables accountants to export key documents, submit VAT declarations, and manage their clients’ tax filings all in one place. This streamlined process simplifies preparing and submitting filings on behalf of clients, including VAT returns (XML file) and client listings.<\/p>\n

1. Step-by-Step Guide \u2013 Assigning Seats in Accountable for Accountants <\/b><\/h1>\n

With Accountable for Accountants, you can easily assign seats (licenses) to your clients. <\/h4>\n

2\ufe0f\u20e3 Search for the client you want to upgrade (must be on the Free plan and share access with you)

5\ufe0f\u20e3 Click on Assign

2. How to get access to your client’s account \ud83d\udce5<\/b><\/h1>\n

Accountable\u2019s Expert platform allows you to access and manage your clients\u2019 accounts. You can either be granted access directly by your client or send them a request to connect. Here\u2019s how to get started:<\/p>\n

2.1. Client sends you an invitation \u2709\ufe0f<\/b><\/h2>\n

To access your client\u2019s account, they first need to send you an invitation. This will be done via the email address you provide to them, which you’ll use every time you need to access their account.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s how your client can send the invitation:<\/b><\/p>\n

Step 1: <\/b>Your client needs to go to Settings<\/b> \u2192 \u201cData access\u201d and click on \u201cGive access\u201d to someone<\/b>.<\/h3>\n

Step 2: <\/b>They should enter your email address (the one you\u2019ll use to access their account).<\/h3>\n

Step 3: <\/b>As an accountant, you\u2019ll receive an email with an invitation. Click the link in the email and enter your details to create your expert account.<\/h3>\n

Step 4: <\/b>After creating your expert account, go to expert.accountable.eu<\/a><\/b> and log in using the same email address you registered with.<\/h3>\n

2.3. How to register on Accountable for Accountant<\/h2>\n

If you’d like to register for Expert Accountable without being invited by a client, simply visit expert.accountable.eu<\/a><\/b> and click on Sign Up<\/b>.<\/h4>\n

Next, fill in your details and click on Create Account<\/b> to complete the registration process.<\/h4>\n

2.4. Invite clients yourself \u2795<\/b><\/h2>\n

In case you want to invite your client first, you can simply do this by clicking on “Add your clients to Accountable”<\/b>. Enter their email<\/b> and send the invitation.<\/h4>\n

These steps are only required the first time you set up access to your client\u2019s account. Once you\u2019ve completed the process and created your Expert account, you won\u2019t need to repeat the previous steps.<\/p>\n

For security reasons, the Expert platform automatically logs you out every 24 hours.<\/p>\n
