It simplifies and standardizes the e-invoicing process, facilitating B2B and B2G (Business to government) exchanges, particularly for cross-border transactions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">\n<div class=\"intercom-interblocks-callout\" style=\"background-color: #d7efdc80; border-color: #1bb15733;\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">\ud83d\udca1 The identification process is essential to ensure absolute security for our users on the Peppol network:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\"><b>Preventing identity theft:<\/b> without robust verification, someone could impersonate you and issue legal invoices in your name.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\"><b>Protecting your tax data: <\/b>the Peppol network handles highly sensitive information. Verification ensures that only you have access to managing these financial flows.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\"><b>Legal compliance:<\/b> as a certified platform, we are required to follow strict security protocols to protect the integrity of all our users.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">Traditional methods like phone calls or simple signatures are no longer enough today to counter sophisticated fraud risks.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">\n<h1 class=\"font-degular\" id=\"h_06f856a4aa\">Register on the Peppol system<\/h1>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">Before sending invoices via Peppol, it is essential to register on the Peppol network. This will allow you to receive a unique Peppol ID, which is necessary for sending and receiving documents through this system.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">Typically, this registration is done through an accredited Peppol service provider. You will need to scan your ID card, or passport, or resident card, or driver&#8217;s license.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">If you are already registered on the Peppol system, you do not need to register again.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">In the Accountable app, you have the option to register through the <b>Settings<\/b> as well as from the<b> invoice sending (under Revenue)<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\"><b>From Settings<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">1.
