\n\ud83c\udfaf Who can see the Daily sales book ?<\/h1>\n
\n
By default, the Daily sales book is enabled for Belgian users in direct sales or B2C professions<\/b> (e.g., hairdressers, beauticians, paramedical professions such as physiotherapists, tattoo artists, yoga instructors, coaches, shop or e-shop managers, animal care workers, catering, hospitality, mechanics…).<\/p>\n
\n
It is enabled automatically when you sign up or when you switch to one of these professions. Two conditions apply: your plan must include it, and you must not have already turned it on or off yourself.<\/p>\n
\n
For any other profession, the tab stays hidden by default: it can be enabled manually via Settings \u2192 Daily sales book \u2192 Enable daily sales book<\/b>.<\/p>\n

\n\ud83d\udcac Good to know:<\/b> you choose the first day of your Daily sales book. It can be any day from 1 January of the current year up to today. If a tax period (VAT or income tax) has already been filed this year, the earliest possible day is the day after that period ends.<\/p>\n
Before you save that first day, the app asks you to confirm the start date. Once the first day is saved, you can no longer add earlier days.<\/b><\/p>\n
If you were already keeping a paper daily sales book, keep it safe for the period before the first day recorded in Accountable: it remains your legal record for that period.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Daily sales book is included in the Bookkeeping<\/b>, Taxes<\/b> and Max<\/b> plans (as well as during a Trial<\/b>), and in the legacy Grow<\/b>, Pro<\/b>, Grow Max<\/b> and Pro Max<\/b> plans.<\/p>\n

It is not included<\/b> in Free, legacy Basic, or Invoicing Plus.<\/p>\n

\u2139\ufe0f What happens if you downgrade?<\/b><\/p>\n
If you started using the Daily sales book during your Trial and later move to a plan that does not include it, your calendar and monthly totals stay visible on web, but you can no longer open the details of each day. Creating new entries, correcting saved days or using bulk fill-in is blocked until you upgrade.<\/p>\n

Please note:<\/i><\/b> non-invoice revenues created or linked through the daily sales book are locked once the day is saved. If you need to change something later, you must create a correction in the daily sales book. After moving to a plan that does not include the daily sales book, corrections are only available after upgrading again.<\/p>\n

Your daily sales book starts on the first day you save. After that, you can no longer add earlier days. This ensures your book reflects the actual date you started keeping records, in line with legal requirements.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

Days must be filled in order, oldest first. You can’t skip one.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
- \n
You can never fill in a future date, whether one day at a time or through bulk fill-in. Only today or earlier dates are possible.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

Days inside a period that has already been filed (VAT or income tax) show a lock icon. You can no longer record or correct sales on those days.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

Add one more entry for the rest of that day’s sales, so the total still matches your actual revenue.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\nSales of \u20ac500 or less can be added directly from the daily sales book, on the day concerned, as long as each good sold does not individually exceed \u20ac500 (incl. VAT).<\/p>\n

The Bulk fill-in<\/b> button lets you select multiple consecutive days on the calendar to apply Store closed<\/b> or Nothing sold<\/b> to all of them at once. <\/p>\n
This feature is only available on web for now.<\/i><\/p>\n

\u2139\ufe0f Bulk fill-in only covers “Store closed<\/b>” and “Nothing sold<\/b>“. Sales amounts always need to be entered day by day, as they vary.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udd12 A day is greyed out and cannot be selected for bulk fill-in if it already has revenues, if it’s already filled in, or if it’s locked by a filed tax period.<\/b><\/p>\n
For a day that already has revenues, you’ll see a small icon. Hovering over it shows: “Existing revenues. Bulk fill is only for days that are closed or have no sales.”<\/i><\/p>\n

If non-invoice revenues already exist for a day (for example, till receipts), they are linked to that day automatically the first time you save it, and the form opens pre-filled with their totals. They show up in the “Non-invoice revenues for today”<\/b> section, marked “Linked”<\/b> once the day is saved.<\/p>\n

The daily total can never be lower than the sum of those linked tickets. This rule applies per VAT rate.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
- \n
If the daily total entered is higher than the sum of existing tickets, an additional non-invoice revenue is automatically created to match the difference. In the Revenues list, it shows as a daily sales book entry with an “Auto” label and an unknown client.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
- \n
Corrections:<\/b> if you correct a saved day, the revenue the app created automatically is updated to match the new total. It is deleted if the difference drops to 0. Non-invoice revenues you entered yourself stay as they are, unless you remove them during the correction.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
- \n
If you correct a day to “Nothing sold” or “Store closed”, all revenues linked to that day are deleted. The app warns you before doing so.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
\nExample:<\/p>\n

On 1 August 2026, there is already an entry for revenue without an invoice (\u20ac60) which is marked as \u2018Linked\u2019. The total sales for the day (2 haircuts) also amount to \u20ac60: this matches exactly, so nothing else happens.<\/p>\n

On 9 August 2026, you had already entered an revenue without invoice(ticket) for \u20ac60 under \u2018Revenue\u2019. When recording your daily sales, you realise that you had in fact earned \u20ac70 that day.<\/p>\n
You can enter \u20ac70 as the daily income amount (NB: The daily sales amount cannot be less than the sum of any income entries without invoices recorded for that day) .<\/p>\n
The app will automatically create an additional receipt for \u20ac10 so that the total of the receipts (60 + 10) matches the daily sales amount (70).<\/p>\n

Corrections:<\/b> the original line stays as it was first entered. The correction appears as a separate line on the date you made it, with the old and new amounts and the reason. A correction that changes no amount (for example, switching a closed day to \u201cNothing sold\u201d) does not appear in the PDF.<\/p>\n

Q: Can I start my daily sales book on an earlier date?<\/b><\/p>\n
Yes<\/b>, from 1 January of the current year, or from the day after the last filed tax period. Once the first day is saved, you can no longer add earlier days.<\/p>\n

Q: Can I skip days?<\/b><\/p>\n
No.<\/b> Days must be filled in chronological order, oldest first. If you had no sales, select “Nothing sold”<\/b>. If your business was closed, select “Store closed”<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Q: Can I delete a saved day?<\/b><\/p>\n
No.<\/b> Once a day is saved, it cannot be erased. If something is wrong, you need to create a correction. The original entry remains visible.<\/p>\n

Q: Can I still edit normal non-invoice revenues?<\/b><\/p>\n
Yes.<\/b> Regular non-invoice revenues that are not linked to a saved Daily sales book day can still be edited as usual. However, once a non-invoice revenue is linked to a saved Daily sales book day, it is locked and any changes must go through the Daily sales book correction flow.<\/p>\n
