Once Tap to Pay is activated<\/b> and you have accepted the terms and conditions<\/b>, you can immediately start accepting payments.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\ude80 How to accept a payment with Tap to Pay<\/h1>\n

Follow these simple steps:<\/p>\n

  1. \n

    Go to the Bank page<\/b> in the Accountable Banking app<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    Tap the + button<\/b> in the bottom right corner<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    Select Tap to Pay<\/b> <\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  4. \n

    Enter the amount<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  5. \n

    (Optional) Add a description \/ communication<\/b>, for example: Haircut<\/i><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  6. \n

    Tap Continue<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    \ud83d\udc49 Your phone is now ready to accept the payment.<\/p>\n

    Ask your client to simply hold their card or smartphone against your phone, near the NFC sensor<\/b> \ud83d\udcf2 (on iPhone this is the top of the device, on Android it is usually the back)<\/p>\n

    Once the payment is successful, it will be confirmed instantly \u2705. Tap to Pay payments typically arrive one business day <\/b>after the transaction happened.<\/p>\n

    \ud83d\udcb0 How to add the payment as revenue<\/h1>\n

    After the payment has been accepted:<\/p>\n

      A green button will appear: \u201cAdd as non-invoice revenue\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    2. \n

      Tap this button<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    3. \n

      Enter a item name (for example: Haircut<\/i>)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    4. \n

      Tap Add as revenue<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      \ud83c\udf89 Done! The payment is now correctly added to your bookkeeping as income.<\/p>\n
