As a rule, the default settings will be selected here. If they do, they will inform you in a letter. If you did not receive any information (letter) about prepayments, you probably don&#8217;t have to do any prepayments.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\"><b>When does income tax have to be paid in advance?<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">Advance payments of income tax are only assessed if the tax burden in the previous assessment period amounted to at least EUR 400 and therefore at least EUR 100 would have to be paid in advance per quarter (Section 37 (5) sentence 1 EStG)<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">\n<div class=\"intercom-container\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/downloads.intercomcdn.com\/i\/o\/c9wnmh12\/1579924337\/2a08b82ffbee2748a6aaa9ff9197\/ScreenRecording2025-06-20at08_50_25-ezgif_com-video-to-gif-converter.gif?expires=1787637600&amp;signature=9046d1f0f96d845b78e2acfd831f8ac80d881cba9c3c426f27b9f1ab0aa76e50&amp;req=dSUgH8B8mYJcXvMW3nq%2BgebSaWLKcnGrwRJ%2FV4%2FY7bRd%2B27w4XKk7IQxIBwt%0AuRDJxrpRRQfafrdGR9P5FUaLxP0%3D%0A\" width=\"800\" height=\"407\" style=\"height: auto;\"><\/div>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">Once you have encoded all prepayments, you will get reminders for each prepayment in Accountable and the payment details for the bank transfer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">\n<h1 class=\"font-degular\" id=\"h_67860e872f\">How to add revenues and expenses<\/h1>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">There are several ways to add your revenues and expenses to Accountable.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">\n<h2 class=\"font-degular\" id=\"h_aa12c690b8\"><b>Create a new invoice from scratch<\/b><\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">You can create all your invoices directly in Accountable and send them directly to your customer. <a href=\"https:\/\/help.accountable.eu\/en\/articles\/2628628-create-your-first-sales-invoice\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"intercom-content-link font-inter\">Here&#8217;s<\/a> an entire article about creating invoices.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">\n<div class=\"intercom-container\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/downloads.intercomcdn.com\/i\/o\/c9wnmh12\/1579924940\/420a9693297f8763df1aaa7d586b\/ScreenRecording2025-06-20at08_58_58-ezgif_com-video-to-gif-converter.gif?expires=1787637600&amp;signature=01cbe1e2be3756c948554507b71c7ebb364cc0e12edf143d5a38b8a4d1f6997f&amp;req=dSUgH8B8mYhbWfMW3nq%2BgWHD8Xu0iadU7wGSq%2BIU%2BevCLkqN6f8ly6dWXkic%0AcWb50OAiLnblc8GTfY5TsnmF5ok%3D%0A\" width=\"800\" height=\"407\" style=\"height: auto;\"><\/div>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">\n<h2 class=\"font-degular\" id=\"h_5340c0988d\"><b>Via Drag &amp; Otherwise, the email cannot be assigned to your account.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">If you want to send the email from a different email address, you should set it as an &#8220;alias&#8221; under Settings &gt; Personal Details.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">\n<h2 class=\"font-degular\" id=\"h_69d4de2a13\"><b>Manually<\/b><\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">Another option is to manually add your invoices and expenses directly in Accountable by clicking on either <b>+ Add Revenue <\/b>in the revenue screen<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">\n<div class=\"intercom-container\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/downloads.intercomcdn.com\/i\/o\/c9wnmh12\/1579929222\/4df40ec84ae71e3553f026956a07\/ScreenRecording2025-06-20at09_07_40-ezgif_com-video-to-gif-converter.gif?expires=1787637600&amp;signature=c2e196942c95f524cf24c37079d9b81991f86916ca0bdaea0f8b838562d44e4e&amp;req=dSUgH8B8lINdW%2FMW3nq%2BgaVn4%2B7CBKiv5L5TbVt%2BNaGSBOtpRJIrfjCv2wEx%0AQjrttfOAAytPyYBzIS%2BnH39iieY%3D%0A\" width=\"800\" height=\"407\" style=\"height: auto;\"><\/div>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">or on <b>+ Create an expense manually<\/b> in the expenses screen in the top right corner.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">\n<h1 class=\"font-degular\" id=\"h_a74b2798a7\">How can I see my tax obligations?<\/h1>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">You can view your tax obligations at any time under &#8220;Taxes&#8221;.
