Check for alternatives or workarounds<\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">Many so-called \u201cspecial cases\u201d can actually be handled with a simple solution, even if the feature isn\u2019t directly visible.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">For example:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">Certain business expenses can be correctly assigned using an appropriate category<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">Income can be recorded under a different category<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">Missing receipt types can be documented cleanly in a free-text field<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">Specific tax cases for which we already offer workarounds (e.g., certain side income or mixed activities)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">If you\u2019re unsure, just reach out \u2013 we can show you if an elegant workaround exists.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<h2 class=\"font-degular\" id=\"h_8d767fb973\">2. Use our team\u2019s support<\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">Just because a feature is missing doesn\u2019t mean you\u2019re on your own. Important exception: When your tax situation doesn\u2019t fit Accountable<\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">There are rare cases where the app isn\u2019t the right solution for your situation, such as very complex scenarios:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">Self-employed with two tax numbers<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">Businesses required to do double-entry bookkeeping<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">E-commerce operators<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">UG or GmbH companies<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">If this applies to you, we\u2019ll tell you openly \u2013 our goal is to make sure your taxes are handled correctly.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">But we won\u2019t leave you in the dark: we\u2019ll explain exactly what\u2019s missing and which external steps you can take instead.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<h2 class=\"font-degular\" id=\"h_37126267dc\">5.
