We explain how to invoice your international clients (self-employed or companies). <\/b><\/p>\n

How do I invoice my clients based outside the European Union?<\/b><\/p>\n

If you invoice clients (self-employed or companies) in the UK, Switzerland, Brazil or another country outside from the European Union, it corresponds to an export outside the European Economic Area, so you do not have to charge VAT. <\/p>\n

How does it work in the Accountable app?<\/b><\/p>\n

1)Add your client<\/i><\/p>\n

(Menu>Client list)<\/p>\n

When you add a client to your client list, you add the country of that client.<\/p>\n

2)Create an invoice<\/i><\/p>\n

(Revenue>Create an invoice)<\/p>\n

\n

\n

When you create an invoice for this customer outside the European Union, the Accountable application will automatically put “0%” in VAT. In “Why is there no VAT on this invoice?”, the app will automatically mention “This is an export outside of the EEA”(you can also select that manually).<\/p>\n
