General settings<\/h1>\n
One of the first things we recommend to do is check your settings. This is the basis for ensuring that all your taxes are calculated correctly.<\/p>\n

<\/div>\nThe first thing you need to do is select which figures you want to use to calculate your taxes. As a rule, the default settings will be selected here. We recommend extrapolation because the calculation is most accurate here. <\/p>\n

<\/div>\nWhen you register, Accountable assumes that the previous tax years have been completed. So if you still want to do your taxes for a previous year, you can choose the year right here.<\/p>\n

<\/div>\n\u2757\ufe0fIf you are active as a self-employed person with a side business, you will need to specify whether this is your primary or secondary activity and adjust the number of days accordingly.<\/p>\n
\nAdjust income tax prepayments<\/h1>\n
The purpose of income tax prepayments is to pay 100% of your tax in advance to get a tax bonus (or avoid a fine, depending on how you look at it).<\/p>\n
\n
You can pay progressively in 4 installments of 25%, or make a larger first installment in the first quarter.<\/p>\n
\n
Installments are only optional for the first 3 years of your self-employed activity.<\/p>\n

Create a new invoice from scratch<\/b><\/h2>\n

You can also just forward your existing invoices and receipts directly via email.<\/p>\n
Just send your revenue to revenue@accountable.eu<\/a><\/b> and your expenses to expenses@accountable.eu<\/a><\/b>.<\/p>\n

The documents will create automatic revenue and expenses that you just need to review and confirm.<\/p>\n
\n
It is important that you send the emails only from the email address with which you are registered in Accountable. Otherwise, the email cannot be assigned to your account.<\/p>\n
\n
If you want to send the email from a different email address, you should set it as an “alias” under Settings > Personal Details.<\/p>\n
\n
Manually<\/b><\/h2>\n
Another option is to manually add your revenue and expenses directly in Accountable by clicking on either + Add non invoice revenue <\/b>in the revenue screen. <\/p>\n

You can view your tax obligations at any time under “Taxes”. If you don’t see everything, click on “Show all” in the top right-hand corner.<\/p>\n
