You’ve finalized your sales invoice? Wonderful! Now it’s time to send it.<\/b><\/p>\n

In this article, we explain everything you need to know about how to send invoices.<\/b><\/p>\n

1. Send the invoice with Accountable<\/b><\/h1>\n

    Send via the email sender<\/h3>\n

      After you have created the invoice, select “Save & prepare to send<\/b>“<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Add the email address(es) of the recipient(s) in the “To” \/ “Cc” \/ “Bcc” fields<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Update the text of the email<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Click “send”<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      You will receive a copy of the email<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Select “prepare to send”<\/b><\/p>\n<\/td>\n

      View the status of the email<\/h3>\n

      You will receive a notification in the app as soon as the recipient has opened the email.<\/p>\n

      \n

      In the app, you can also follow the status of the email, to trace:<\/p>\n

      • \n

        when it was sent<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        if\/when it was opened\/read by the recipient<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        This will be added shortly.<\/p>\n

        Create an email template using variables<\/h3>\n
          \n
        • \n

          Update the text of the email and click “+ Add variable” to automate fields:<\/p>\n

          • \n

            invoice number<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          • \n

            client name<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          • \n

            invoice amount<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          • \n

            invoice due date<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n

          • \n

            Click the 3-dots button on the right > “Save as template”<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            2. Send the invoice myself<\/b><\/h1>\n

              After you have created the invoice, select “Save & download PDF”<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

              Download the PDF file<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            • \n

              Send it to your client via your preferred mean (email, whatsapp, post)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              From mobile<\/b><\/h2>\n

              • \n

                After you have created the invoice, select “View sharing options”<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

              • \n

                This will open sharing options from your mobile phone<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

                Send it to your client via your preferred mean (email, whatsapp, etc)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
