fullscreen; picture-in-picture; encrypted-media\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<hr>\n<h2 class=\"font-degular\" id=\"h_83d1c44479\">\ud83d\udc4d W<b>ho gets the guarantee?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">All tax declarations are automatically guaranteed for SMALL\/GROW\/PRO\/TAXES users at the time of tax submission, as well as for tax advisors whose clients meet the same criteria.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">\n<h2 class=\"font-degular\" id=\"h_13d7864c11\"><b>\u2705 What does the guarantee cover?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">The guarantee covers any error or omission in the tax declaration that results in fines or penalties being imposed by the relevant tax authorities, up to \u20ac500 per declaration (GROW\/SMALL\/PRO\/TAXES), excl. fraud and non-submission of taxes.<br \/>The guarantee is extended to \u20ac10.000 per declaration on our MAX plans.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">If you made a mistake (e.g. encoding a document, adding a forbidden expense), we rely on Tax Authorities to say if the guarantee applies:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">Tax Authorities decide that it was NOT carried out with the intention of eluding taxes: in this case, only non-proportional fines can be issued and we cover it as part of the guarantee.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">Tax Authorities decide that it was carried out with the intention of eluding taxes: in this case, proportional fines can be issued and we DON\u2019T cover it as part of the guarantee.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">\n<h2 class=\"font-degular\" id=\"h_6e1d95c932\"><b>\ud83d\udeab Which cases are not covered by the guarantee?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">The guarantee does not cover:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">newly calculated or additional taxes decided by Tax Authorities (e.g. after a tax audit)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">penalties for fraud &amp; tax evasion<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">interests on taxes<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">fines issued after the guarantee validity period (365 days after submission)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">The guarantee neither applies in the following cases:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">You willingly committed fraud, as stated by Tax Authorities, during the period covered by this declaration.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">You submitted a tax declaration late more than once or did not submit it at all.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">You forgot to add documents for the period of the declaration or submitted a document twice, despite warnings displayed in the app.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">You were ever asked by Tax Authorities to pay a fine for fraud or see their revenue corrected by the Tax Office in any period prior to the submission.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">You belong to any of those special tax regimes: mixed VAT, margin VAT (differentia taxation), or agriculture.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">\n<h2 class=\"font-degular\" id=\"h_6736492df8\">\ud83d\udcac FAQ<\/h2>\n<hr>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\"><b>What would be examples of back taxes covered by the guarantee?<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">The guarantee covers back taxes that are the direct result of using the Accountable App.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">This includes errors users make when helpers and user guidance in the Accountable App are not clear or correct, and when no back tax claim would have occurred without such an error.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">Here are a few examples of possible errors covered by the guarantee:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">Incorrect VAT rates on outgoing invoices created through the Accountable App where the user correctly followed the app&#8217;s guidance.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">Incorrect invoice numbers on outgoing invoices when the user consistently creates their invoices using Accountable.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">Incorrect submission of VAT to the tax office when the user records their expenses according to the instructions.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">Selection of an incorrect expense category for incoming invoices due to missing helpers or information in the app.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">Incorrect VAT rates for receipts and invoices scanned with the app.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">\n<hr>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\"><b>What happens if there is a tax audit for a tax return covered by the guarantee?<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">The guarantee is valid for 2 years after filing. If the tax office initiates an audit or asks a<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">question after this period, the guarantee is no longer valid. However, in this case we will of course always help through our support.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">If the tax office initiates an audit within 2 years, Accountable will pay all back taxes related to that tax return, except for fraud and late filings.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">\n<hr>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\"><b>Is the guarantee valid even if my taxes were filed by my accountant or tax advisor<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\"><b>through Accountable?<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">Yes, absolutely.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">\n<hr>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\"><b>What happens if I cancel my paid subscription?<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">The guarantee is valid for 2 years from filing, whether you have a paid subscription or not.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">However, if you terminate your subscription, the guarantee will not apply to future tax<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">returns.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">\n<hr>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\"><b>If I forget a document and I include it in the next month, will the guarantee still apply?<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">In these cases, there should be no back tax claim. However, if this is the cause for additional taxes by the tax office, then we cannot cover this within the guarantee. However, our support will be available to you as always.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">\n<hr>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\"><b>I once received a fine of 5\u20ac for a late filed pre-submission. Does that mean I can&#8217;t get the guarantee?<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">No, it just means that you are not entitled to the guarantee for this filing. It will then apply again for the next tax return.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">\n<hr>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\"><b>I just received a fine for filing my tax return late.
