There are 4 ways to import invoices you created outside Accountable:<\/p>\n

Concretely:<\/p>\n

    You can send a PDF to revenue@accountable.eu<\/a>. The easiest approach is to put revenue@accountable.eu<\/a> in cc or bcc when you send an invoice to your client. Note that you must send from the same email address you used to sign up, so Accountable can identify you. Your invoices will appear in the Revenue screen within a few minutes. To confirm that the information filled in by our character recognition is correct, you will still need to validate each invoice in Accountable.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    You can import a PDF from your phone (or cloud services like Dropbox or Google Drive) by selecting the Upload PDF<\/b> option when you tap the + icon in the Revenue screen. On iOS, you may need to grant access to your cloud services first: go to Browse<\/b>, then Locations<\/b>, then Edit<\/b>, and activate Dropbox or whichever service you want to upload from.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    You can upload your invoice on the web version<\/a>. From the Revenue<\/b> tab, click Import invoice<\/b> and drag and drop your documents (in PDF or image format) onto the screen. You then just need to validate the invoice information.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    If you have a paper invoice, you can take a photo of it directly. This option appears when you tap the + icon in the Revenue screen.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    For best results, make sure your invoice layout is clean and clearly shows line items and sub-totals, as these can be harder for the character recognition to identify.<\/p>\n
