Tax rules may vary depending on your individual situation. When in doubt, ask your Tax Coach.<\/p>\n<div class=\"intercom-interblocks-callout\" style=\"background-color: #e8e8e880;border-color: #73737633\">\n<p class=\"intercom-align-center no-margin font-inter\"><b>\u26a0\ufe0f B2C clients are not included.<\/b><br \/>\u200b<b>\u26a0\ufe0f <\/b>Clients who exclusively carry out VAT-exempt operations (under Article 44 of the Belgian VAT Code) are also not listed, even if they have a Belgian VAT number.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"intercom-interblocks-callout\" style=\"background-color: #e8e8e880;border-color: #73737633\">\n<p class=\"intercom-align-center no-margin font-inter\">\ud83d\udcc5 The submission deadline usually falls on <b>March 31st<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"intercom-interblocks-callout\" style=\"background-color: #feedaf80;border-color: #73737633\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">\u200b<b>\u26a0\ufe0f Important change from 2026:<\/b><br \/>From <b>2026 onwards<\/b>, businesses under the <b>VAT exemption scheme for small businesses (franchise regime)<\/b> must <b>always submit an annual client listing<\/b>, even if it is <b>empty (nihil)<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">In this case, the listing must still include the <b>total turnover generated in Belgium during the previous calendar year<\/b>, or <b>\u20ac0 if no goods or services were supplied<\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">Submitting your client listing is mandatory for every self-employed professional who is subject to VAT. If you are not subject to VAT, you only need to submit the list if you have invoiced clients with a VAT number for more than \u20ac250 in the previous calendar year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">\u200b<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">Accountable can easily generate this client listing for you if you are a <b>PRO\/TAXES\/MAX<\/b> user:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">Make sure that all of last year&#8217;s income is logged in Accountable.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">Go to the taxes screen.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">Select the year (for example, the annual client listing for 2025 must be submitted by March 31st, 2026, so you need to select 2025).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">At the bottom of the screen, under <b>Annual closing<\/b>, find the <b>Client listing<\/b> item and click it.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">Click <b>Export listing<\/b> and you will receive the file by email.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">Uploading your client listing works the same way as uploading your VAT return.
