Create a sales invoice<\/h1>\n

Step 1: Go to “Revenue”<\/b><\/p>\n

Start by heading to the “Revenue”<\/b> section. This is where you manage all your sales invoices and other types of revenue in Accountable.<\/p>\n

Step 2: Create the invoice<\/b><\/p>\n

a) From the mobile app:<\/b> Tap the “+”<\/b> icon on the main interface and select “Create new invoice”<\/b>.<\/p>\n

b) From Accountable Web:<\/b> Go to the “Income”<\/b> section and click “Create invoice”<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Step 3: Select or create a client<\/b><\/p>\n

\u200b<\/p>\n

Accountable will ask you to select a client<\/b> from your saved list. If the client is not in your database yet, you can create a new one<\/b> by adding the required information (name, address, VAT number, etc.).<\/p>\n

Step 4: Verify crucial invoice information<\/b><\/p>\n

Once the client is selected, verify these important details before proceeding:<\/p>\n

\u200b<\/p>\n

a) Invoice number:<\/b> Enter a unique number for the invoice. This number increments automatically for each new invoice. You can also reset the numbering at the start of each year to stay organised.<\/p>\n

b) Issue date:<\/b> The date the invoice is generated.<\/p>\n

\u200b<\/p>\n

c) Service date (if applicable):<\/b> If your services cover a specific period, you must also indicate the date of performance.<\/p>\n

d) Due date:<\/b> The deadline for payment of the invoice.<\/p>\n

Step 5: Check your tax and payment information<\/b><\/p>\n

Before finalising the invoice, confirm that your tax information (VAT number, address) and payment details (IBAN, etc.) are correctly displayed.<\/p>\n

1)<\/i> The IBAN shown on the invoice is the one you provided in your Personal Settings<\/i>.<\/p>\n

2)<\/i> If you changed your VAT status during the year, verify that the VAT status applied to the invoice is correct.<\/p>\n
