On your Tax Reserve account<\/b>, you can see the familiar bar showing how much you should set aside for taxes. Until now, you had to do this manually. From now on, Accountable can handle it automatically if you want.<\/p>\n

This article covers how to set up automatic tax saving, how the amount is calculated, how to adjust your settings at any time, and what happens if your balance runs low.<\/p>\n

What’s new?<\/h1>\n

With the new “Automatic set aside”<\/b> feature, your tax reserves are transferred automatically from your main account to your Tax Reserve account. No calculating, no remembering: it just runs in the background.<\/p>\n

How do I set it up?<\/h1>\n

Go to your Tax Reserve account and tap the selection button<\/b>. From there you can:<\/p>\n

    set the percentage<\/b>: 90%, 100% or 110%<\/b> of the calculated amount<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    As soon as the automation is active, you’ll see it at a glance<\/b>. The status is shown right in the account, so you never have to dig around to check.<\/p>\n

    How is the amount calculated?<\/h1>\n

    The calculation is based on your available cash<\/b>. That way you always stay in control of what gets moved.<\/p>\n

    Can I change it anytime?<\/h1>\n

    You’re not locked in. Just tap “Manage it”<\/b> again and you can:<\/p>\n

      adjust the percentage (e.g. switch from 100% to 90%)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      turn the automation off completely<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      enable or disable it for individual taxes<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Whether you’re at your laptop or on the go with your phone, setup and management work the same way in the web version and the mobile app<\/b>.<\/p>\n

      What happens if my balance isn’t enough?<\/h1>\n

      If there isn’t enough money in your main account to set the amount aside automatically, Accountable will let you know:<\/p>\n

        You’ll get an email with a QR code<\/b> so you can top up your account quickly<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        You’ll also see a message directly in the app<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        That way you can react right away and keep your reserve on track.<\/p>\n
