If you are already registered with Peppol, you can start receiving your utility bills as e-invoices. With Luminus, it&#8217;s quite simple. You just need to fill in an online form. This simple guide explains how<\/strong> <strong>to do this.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"what-do-you-need-to-do-to-receive-e-invoices-from-luminus\" class=\"wp-block-heading font-degular scroll-mt-32\">What do you need to do to receive e-invoices from Luminus?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"font-inter text-base leading-relaxed mb-4 first-of-type:mt-0 text-black\">It&#8217;s very straightforward: <strong>as a business customer with Luminus, you can activate e-invoicing by filling out <a class=\"font-inter text-purple underline underline-offset-1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.luminus.be\/nl\/apps\/b2b\/e-bill\/\">this form<\/a>. <\/strong>However, be sure to register with Peppol first. <a class=\"font-inter text-purple underline underline-offset-1\" href=\"#peppol-registration\">Here&#8217;s how you do it<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"font-inter text-base leading-relaxed mb-4 first-of-type:mt-0 text-black\">Once activated, your invoices will automatically appear in your invoicing software. Additionally, you\u2019ll still receive an email each time your energy invoice is ready, or you can opt to receive one email containing all your invoices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"what-are-e-invoices\" class=\"wp-block-heading font-degular scroll-mt-32\">What are e-invoices?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"font-inter text-base leading-relaxed mb-4 first-of-type:mt-0 text-black\">An e-invoice is not the same as a PDF or a scanned invoice. E-invoicing specifically involves XML files sent in the UBL format via <a class=\"font-inter text-purple underline underline-offset-1\" href=\"https:\/\/einvoice.belgium.be\/en\/article\/everything-you-need-know-about-peppol\">the Peppol network<\/a>. Thanks to these UBL standards, all the necessary information is included on the invoice, allowing accounting or invoicing software to read it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"font-inter text-base leading-relaxed mb-4 first-of-type:mt-0 text-black\">Such invoicing software can send, receive, and automatically process e-invoices.
