Being self-employed is already so hard in itself. We believe there should be a better way to manage our administrative duties.
Our vision is that managing your taxes should be as easy as booking an Airbnb or ordering a meal on Deliveroo.
💪🏼 The pain we solve
As self-employed workers ourselves, we understand the pain freelancers, lawyers, architects, medical doctors and so on suffer from trying to make sense of their finance.
From trying to:
- collect and not lose those (bloody) professional expense receipts,
- get a sense of how much money we are actually earning and always having to guess how much VAT, social contributions and other taxes we will need to pay,
- make sure that, in order to optimise our taxes, we spend the right amounts in the right categories — that, compared to our peers, we follow the same patterns,
…we felt this pain.
We think that, in 2018, there should be a way to make this experience 100x better and allow us to focus on what actually matters — be it family or actual work.
This is a vision, we believe, worth fighting for.
