Starting a new project with a client?
Before you begin, sending a quote is a simple step that sets everything up for success.
A quote helps you clearly outline the expected cost and scope of the work. Your client knows exactly what to expect — and you both move forward with confidence.
Once the work is completed, you can then issue an invoice. This confirms what was delivered, the final amount due, and the payment terms.
A good quote does more than list a price. It gives your client clarity and shows your professionalism from the start.
After discussing the project (and visiting the site if needed), your quote should clearly outline:
the services or products included
any materials used
the amount of work involved
taxes
any discounts
👉 The clearer you are, the more confident your client will feel.
Make sure your quote includes:
Your business details (contact info, VAT number, logo)
A detailed breakdown of requested services and products
Optional or additional offerings
The estimated total cost
A creation date and an expiration date
Creating a quote shouldn’t slow you down. With Accountable, it’s quick and straightforward:
Go to the Revenue screen
Click Create a quote
Add the required details (client, items, prices…)
Download your quote as a PDF
Send it to your client
💡 Tip: you can duplicate an existing quote to save even more time.
Managing multiple clients? Staying organized is key.
From the Quotes tab in the Revenue screen, you can:
view all your quotes at a glance
assign a status (Not sent, Sent, Approved, Rejected)
filter by status to focus on what matters
👉 You always know where things stand, without extra effort.
Once your client approves the quote, you’re ready to invoice:
Open the quote
Click Make it an invoice
Review the pre-filled details
Save and send your invoice
💡 Good to know:
Each quote can generate one invoice
Need multiple payments? Simply duplicate the invoice
Do quotes impact my taxes?
No, quotes are not included in your tax or accounting calculations.
Are quotes available on the Free plan?
Yes, quotes are unlimited and don’t count toward the monthly document limit.
Can I import quotes from another tool?
No, quotes need to be created directly in Accountable.

They always answer for questions wherever is via direct e-mail or through app. If they can’t answer fully they will forward you to the right place. Documents were always prepared well and ready to send further to government. Everything is intuitive in the app and easy to sort out even for someone completely green in this field.
