Or, in simple terms: to send and receive e-invoices, you need to be connected to the Peppol network. You can do this for free with Accountable in less than 2 minutes.
As a business, you could previously invoice however you liked, as long as all the required informati...

Read moreIn Accountable, you will only be able to send invoices via PEPPOL to clients that are already registered on PEPPOL: before you send your invoice, we will check if your client is registered.
If they are not, you will only be able to send the invoice via email.
We will never let you make a mistake.
💡Good news: if your client is self-employed, you can invite them on Accountable and earn 110€ if they register on PEPPOL with us. Contact us if you have any question, we are here for you.
You don’t need to force your clients to work with PEPPOL.
Two situation can arise:
In PEPPOL, every invoice is stored as a file that is not meant to be “visualized” as a PDF is: as a consequence, your layout will not be visible to your client.
On the other side, your invoice will automatically be imported in their invoicing software, meaning you should be paid faster. This is change is indeed important: an opportunity for you to think about your “brand” differently 😉?
Until the deadline, it’s entirely optional.
Once you’re registered on PEPPOL with Accountable, you can still choose to send your invoices however you like (email, paper, WhatsApp, etc.).
After all, you’re still the boss (at least until January 1, 2026 😅).
You can register for free on Accountable. Just set up your account & it’s done.
A number of other providers are offering to register you on PEPPOL but are generally paid or limit the number of e-invoices you can send. Be careful if you register elsewhere.
If you want to switch PEPPOL provider, it is relatively easy but could be tedious depending on where you registered: indeed, you will need to unregister from the place you registered to register elsewhere. Contact us if you want support to achieve this, we are here for you.
PEPPOL is available for free to all Accountable users, both our Grow plan and our Pro plan.
You can register for free from both the Mobile app or the Web app.
Contact us if you have any question.
