Peppol (Pan-European Public Procurement On-Line) is a standardized network for the secure exchange of electronic documents, such as invoices, between businesses and public administrations in Europe. It simplifies and standardizes the e-invoicing process, facilitating B2B and B2G (Business to government) exchanges, particularly for cross-border transactions.
💡 The identification process is essential to ensure absolute security for our users on the Peppol network:
Preventing identity theft: without robust verification, someone could impersonate you and issue legal invoices in your name.
Protecting your tax data: the Peppol network handles highly sensitive information. Verification ensures that only you have access to managing these financial flows.
Legal compliance: as a certified platform, we are required to follow strict security protocols to protect the integrity of all our users.
Traditional methods like phone calls or simple signatures are no longer enough today to counter sophisticated fraud risks.
Before sending invoices via Peppol, it is essential to register on the Peppol network. This will allow you to receive a unique Peppol ID, which is necessary for sending and receiving documents through this system.
Typically, this registration is done through an accredited Peppol service provider. You will need to scan your ID card, or passport, or resident card, or driver's license.
If you are already registered on the Peppol system, you do not need to register again.
In the Accountable app, you have the option to register through the Settings as well as from the invoice sending (under Revenue).
From Settings
1. In Settings, go to Peppol.

The coaching session on tax management was excellent, good material, excellent explanations and very insightful…my accountant and tax advisor are good, but never so comprehensive and accurate. Combined with the AI I never feel alone with Accountable

The availability of your team to help and guide people to understand their finances better is what really makes Accountable valuable. While the AI is able to give answer to most of the basic questions, specific scenarios need counsel from a human which your team performs beautifully.
