Switching your Peppol registration to Accountable involves deregistering from your current Access Point and re-registering with us.

Why can’t I use two access points?

The Peppol network assigns each participant a unique Participant Identifier linked to one Access Point. This ensures that documents are securely and correctly routed. Because of this setup, a participant can only be connected to one Access Point at a time.

Steps to switch to Accountable

  1. Deregister from your current access point

    • Contact the provider currently managing your Peppol registration.

    • Request the deactivation or removal of your registration.

    • This step is essential to free up your Participant Identifier and make it available for a new registration.

  2. Register with Accountable

    • Once deregistration is confirmed, you can register through the Accountable app.

    • Follow the steps provided in this guide to complete the setup and ensure your invoices are routed correctly.

Important to know

  • Single Access Point Rule: Peppol participants can only use one Access Point at a time. Attempting to use multiple providers simultaneously can lead to routing conflicts and document delivery issues.

  • Security First: This rule ensures secure and efficient electronic document exchanges.
