How do I open an Accountable Banking Account?

🔄 Step 1: Update your app

Before starting, make sure you are using the latest version of the Accountable app.

Please update the app via:

  • The Apple App Store

  • The Google Play Store

This is important, as the banking feature may not be visible in older versions of the app.

🚀 Step 2: Start the account opening process

There are two ways to open your Accountable bank account.

Option 1: Via the Bank page

  1. Go to the Bank page in the Accountable app.

  2. Click on the banner “Open your free professional account.”

Option 2: Via your Account Settings

  1. Go to Account Settings.

  2. Select Bank Settings.

  3. Click on “Open your free professional account.”

📝 Step 3: Fill in your company details

After clicking the button, you will be asked to complete your company information.

You will need to provide:

  • Your first and last name

  • Your company name

  • Your Enterprise number

    • ⚠️ Active in KBO/BCE

  • Your professional address registered in the KBO (Crossroads Bank for Enterprises)

  • A description of your professional activities

  • Additional questions required by SWAN, our banking partner

Please make sure all information matches the official data registered in the KBO.

🪪 Step 4: Identity verification

You will then be redirected to an external secure page to complete your identity verification.

This step is managed by SWAN, our banking partner.

Simply follow the instructions on screen to finalize your application.

⏳ How long does it take?

The account opening process usually takes between 1 and 3 business days.

Once approved, your professional bank account will be fully active inside the Accountable app.
