Are you using Accountable for your administration, but your accountant is asking you to switch to their own software?

We hear this regularly from self-employed people. Many want to keep working with Accountable, either for its ease of use or because they use it for invoicing. Good news: you can keep using Accountable, even if your accountant uses different software!

Two solutions

Option 1: Accountable Connect

Accountable Connect is an integration within the Accountable for Accountants platform, which allows you to keep using Accountable whilst your accountant continues using their own trusted software.

Your accountant can retrieve all your documents (income and expenses) directly from Accountable and import them into their own accounting software.

Benefits:

• No manual work: all data arrives automatically with your accountant
• Time savings for both parties

Option 2: giving your accountant access

You can also give your accountant direct access to your data in Accountable, so they can view and manage everything within the platform.

Benefits:

• You can give your accountant access for free and with ease.
• Your accountant has direct insight into your administration.

Here's how to give your accountant access to your Accountable account:

1. Go to Settings > Data access in your account.
2. Click on 'Invite your accountant'.
3. Enter your accountant's email address.
4. Your accountant will immediately receive an invitation by email.
