Nicolas Quarré

Nicolas Quarré is co-founder and CEO at Accountable. His vision for Accountable has always been clear: give everyone dreaming about becoming their own boss the confidence to start as self-employed, and help every independent overcome the fears & meaningless barriers that are often associated with the status.

Nicolas has a strong academic background, holding a Bachelor & Master’s degree from Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management and a Bachelor from Ecole Polytechnique. He also participated in the MBA exchange program at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, where he joined the PGP Program.

Before founding Accountable, Nicolas was a founding partner at RIAKTR (formerly Real Impact Analytics). RIAKTR, established in 2009, provided advanced analytical solutions for Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), FMCG companies, and banks in over 35 countries across Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. Nicolas lead the expansion of the company in Brazil where he lives for 4 years (and got to learn the importance of surrounding oneself with gente boa).

In 2018, Nicolas co-founded Accountable alongside Alexis Eggermont and Hassan Ayed. Accountable’s mission is to remove the fear, the stress and complexity of managing tax obligations for the self-employed through a very simple app.

Despite a genuinely busy agenda, Nicolas is a happy contributor to the Accountable blog. Through his blog posts, he aims to provide independents & future independents with practical tips on managing finances, understanding tax obligations, and building sustainable businesses. Stuff he would have loved to know when he started.
