🕵️♀️ Wat wordt als fraude beschouwd?
Fraude omvat elke ongeoorloofde toegang of verdachte activiteit op je account, zoals pogingen om in te loggen zonder toestemming of transacties die jij niet hebt uitgevoerd.
Hoe beschermt Swan mijn account?
Swan controleert accounts op ongebruikelijke activiteiten en gebruikt risicodetectiesystemen om mogelijke fraude te identificeren. Dit omvat:
Transacties in real time monitoren
Verdachte patronen detecteren
Samenwerken met financiële opsporingsdiensten om verliezen te voorkomen
📋 Wat moet ik doen als ik fraude vermoed?
Als je verdachte activiteiten opmerkt:
Neem onmiddellijk contact op met support via de Accountable-app of e-mail (support@accountable.eu)
Blokkeer je kaart als je je gegevens hebt ingevoerd op een frauduleuze website (zie ons artikel hier)
Deel je wachtwoord of toegangscodes met niemand
Swan zal onderzoeken en actie ondernemen indien nodig
🏛️ Doe officieel aangifte
Naast het contacteren van Accountable raden we je sterk aan om ook officieel aangifte te doen bij de bevoegde autoriteiten:
België: Doe aangifte bij de lokale politie of via police.be. Internetfraude kan ook gemeld worden bij het Centrum voor Cybersecurity België via ccb.belgium.be.
Duitsland: Doe aangifte bij het lokale politiebureau (Polizei). Internetfraude kan ook gemeld worden bij het Bundeskriminalamt (BKA).
Een politieaangiftenummer kan ook vereist zijn door je bank of verzekeraar voor een terugbetalingsprocedure.

⚠️ Let op voor opvolgingsfraude. Fraudeurs nemen soms een tweede keer contact op met slachtoffers, waarbij ze zich voordoen als onderzoekers of beweren dat ze kunnen helpen om verloren geld terug te krijgen. Als je zo'n contact ontvangt, ga er niet op in — meld het ons onmiddellijk. |
Goed om te weten:
Krijg ik automatisch een nieuwe toegangscode bij een reset?
Nee. Tijdens een reset kies en bevestig je zelf een nieuwe toegangscode. Swan zal deze nooit automatisch versturen.
Wie kan mijn account bekijken?
Alleen jij en iedereen aan wie je expliciet toegang hebt gegeven (bijv. via Accountable's accountanttoegang) kunnen je accountgegevens zien. Ongeautoriseerde partijen hebben geen toegang.
Contact tussen jou en Swan
Swan belt je nooit onverwachts. Als je een onverwacht telefoontje van Swan ontvangt, hang op en informeer Accountable direct.
Swan of Accountable kan vragen om je naam of telefoonnummer te verifiëren, maar dat is alles. Alle andere informatieverzoeken verlopen via beveiligde tickets en alleen om geldige redenen, zoals een extra controle van een transactie.

Gebruik sterke en unieke inloggegevens
Wees voorzichtig met e-mails of links die om inloginformatie vragen
Neem contact op met Accountable support bij verdachte berichten

Niet overhaast handelen. Fraudeurs proberen je onder druk te zetten om snel te handelen.

They always answer for questions wherever is via direct e-mail or through app. If they can’t answer fully they will forward you to the right place. Documents were always prepared well and ready to send further to government. Everything is intuitive in the app and easy to sort out even for someone completely green in this field.
