Heard about e-invoicing with PEPPOL but have no idea what it is or how to start? Don’t worry. We’ll break it down for you.
By the end of this post, you’ll be ready to send your very first e-invoice via PEPPOL today, hassle-free.
E-invoicing isn’t as complicated as it seems. You don’t have to do anything tricky yourself. With a certified PEPPOL provider like Accountable, everything runs smoothly automatically.
Here’s how you can easily create your very first e-invoice:
Not sure if you’re already registered with PEPPOL? No worries. You can check your PEPPOL registration here, for free.
Now, what about receiving e-invoices?
Simple. As long as both you and your supplier are registered on the PEPPOL network, all invoices from your suppliers will now arrive directly in the Accountable app (in the expenses screen).
Don’t worry: we’ll also send you an email notification whenever you receive an e-invoice, so you’ll always stay up to date.
E-invoicing reduces paperwork, lowers the chance of errors, and you’ll probably even get paid faster (since your invoice won’t get lost in your client’s inbox).
With Accountable, you can create your invoices just as easily as always.
Our system makes sure your e-invoices are sent correctly and securely via PEPPOL. You can also receive PEPPOL invoices from your clients directly in Accountable.
Create your free Accountable account today and register with PEPPOL to get started.
In Accountable, go to Account > Settings > PEPPOL (e-invoicing). Click Start registration, fill in your details, and follow the authentication process (you’ll need an ID). Your full registration takes less than 2 minutes. We’ll review your application and notify you when your registration is active (usually within 1 day).
If you try to register and get a message from us that you’re already registered, it’s possible your accountant has done this for you. Keep in mind: you can only register via one access point on the PEPPOL network.
If you want to continue using Accountable for e-invoicing, accounting, and taxes, ask your accountant to deregister you in their software, then register via Accountable.
Yes. The PEPPOL network itself is free, and to use it you need a PEPPOL Access Point (invoicing software like Accountable). You don’t need to pay for Accountable: we offer unlimited e-invoicing in our free plan.

The coaching session on tax management was excellent, good material, excellent explanations and very insightful…my accountant and tax advisor are good, but never so comprehensive and accurate. Combined with the AI I never feel alone with Accountable

The availability of your team to help and guide people to understand their finances better is what really makes Accountable valuable. While the AI is able to give answer to most of the basic questions, specific scenarios need counsel from a human which your team performs beautifully.
