Alexis Eggermont

Co-founder and CPO at Accountable

Alexis Eggermont is the co-founder of Accountable and a founding member of Syndicate One, a network of startup founders, operators, and venture capitalists. Syndicate One focuses on early-stage investments in Belgium’s most ambitious entrepreneurs, supporting the creation of groundbreaking technology businesses worldwide.

Alexis holds an MSc in Management from LSE London and a degree in Economics from Harvard Kennedy School, where he pursued the rigorous MPA/ID program.

After completing his studies, Alexis embarked on an entrepreneurial journey that began in Beijing, China, where he founded Eager Analytics. Eager built intuitive analytics systems for the Internet of Things (IoT), enabling manufacturers to better understand customer product usage.

He later co-founded and served as Managing Partner at Dalberg Data Insights (DDI). A key part of the Dalberg Group since 2017, DDI develops data-driven applications for social impact and collaborates with global organisations like The World Bank, USAID, and the Gates Foundation. Alexis led the team’s research and productisation efforts, spearheading solutions to predict epidemics, optimise health interventions, and improve financial inclusion.

In 2018, Alexis co-founded Accountable with Nicolas Quarré and Hassan Ayed. Through his entrepreneurial journey, he has gained invaluable insights into founding and scaling impactful businesses, which he shares on our blog.
