Did you know that by 2026, all invoices between Belgian companies will have to be sent via electronic invoicing? To already get on board, register on Peppol for easy and fast invoicing. That way, you’ll be able to send electronic invoices to your clients and receive them from your suppliers. In this article, we cover some specifics for receiving your e-invoices from Telenet.
Soon, you will be able to receive your invoices from Telenet as e-invoices via Peppol.
To be able to receive electronic invoices from Telenet, first of all you need to be registered with Peppol. Already done? Great, then read on. Not yet registered on Peppol? Then start by doing that.
⚠️ Note that only Telenet business customers can request electronic invoicing via Peppol.
Are you a self-employed sole trader and you don’t have a Telenet business account? If so, you won’t be able to receive your invoices electronically via Peppol. To receive your invoices via Peppol as a self-employed individual, contact Telenet to convert your private account into a business account.

An electronic invoice is not the same as a digital invoice. A PDF invoice is a digital invoice, but it’s not an electronic invoice.
Electronic invoices, or e-invoices, are XML files transferred in UBL format via the Peppol network. These UBL standards ensure that all the necessary information is included on the invoice and that it’s readable by accounting or invoicing software.
These software programs can automatically create, receive, and even process electronic invoices. You can even authorise them to automatically pay invoices.

To activate electronic invoicing via Peppol with Telenet or another operator, you need invoicing or accounting software. Then, all you have to do is sign up on Peppol. Registration is simple and free.
Here’s how to sign up via Accountable:
Activation can take a while. To know if it worked, check if your company is registered in the Peppol Directory.
Once you’ve completed your registration, you’ll start to automatically receive electronic invoices from some providers that use e-invoicing. For others, such as Telenet, you’ll first need to activate e-invoicing with them directly. Your electronic invoices will then automatically appear in the expenses tab of Accountable.

Other telecom operators, such as Digi, Mobile Vikings and EDPnet, don’t have electronic invoicing yet.

en soi je n'ai rien a reprocher pour l'instant à l'application. La seule chose que je pense ou il faut mettre plus de lumiere les demandes fiscales qui attendent les nouveaux entrepreneurs ( en complementaire.) de faire plus de video ludiques. pour ne pas se retrouver dans ma situation ou on se rend pas compte de vraiment compte de l'impacte fiscale de se lancer.
